Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)

• JEE Main is held twice a year, however JEE Advanced is held only once a year.
• JEE Main is held in two shifts over several days. JEE Advanced is a one-day examination.
• JEE Main has only one paper for B.tech students, whereas JEE Advanced has two papers.

Difference Between IIT JEE And JEE

IIT JEE and JEE are both acronyms for the same exam that you take to get into IITs. You should note that other states' Joint Entrance Exams, that there are State based JEE to that begin with the state's name, such as West Bengal JEE and you shouldn't confuse that with Central JEE exam. Do not want to make an elementary mistake like this one!
